An upscale resort in Malibu is facing a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former employee who also alleges a VIP guest sexually assaulted her.Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club, operated by the Guestology Group, employed Amanda Lynch as a server for more than two years, ending with her wrongful termination in August 2023, she said in her complaint filed on Thursday.Lynch's lawsuit was filed one day after another high-end Malibu hospitality business, Nobu, was sued in connection with similar allegations of sexual harassment and assault involving other workers, managers and customers.During that time, she raised complaints about unsafe working conditions, health code violations, preferential treatment given to employees who were romantically involved with managers, employees - including those underage - drinking on the job, sexual harassment and a failure to receive tips and a raise that were promised, according to her filing. A stolen vehicle suspect was taken into custody after a standoff with Beverly Hills police at a Lamborghini dealership Friday. Video taken during the early morning hours showed authorities in pursuit of a white sedan that was stolen earlier from a Toyota dealership in Hollywood.The chase came to an end at a Lamborghini dealership in the 8400 block of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. At 1:37 a.m., the Beverly Hills Police Department issued a public advisory to avoid the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Hamilton Drive due to police activity.The suspect barricaded himself inside the Lamborghini dealership for about an hour.The same man was later seen on video being taken into custody. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) vaping indoors at a concert and being disruptive before she was escorted out of a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” on Sunday night. The video, obtained by 9News.com, appears to contradict a statement from Boebert's office after the incident denying that she had been vaping indoors. The video shows Boebert leaning down to grab an object from her handbag under her seat. She then brings the object to her mouth and is seen blowing smoke from it while other attendees around her try to find their seats.A woman sitting behind her is seen speaking to her during the incident.
